What is BOVIS?
Since the formation of our band people have asked me "What is bovis? What the hell does it mean? Does it have something to do with cows?". Valid questions and ones worth answering, so please allow me to take this oppertunity to educate you all on BOVIS.
Bovis (bo/vus.) derived from the latin word for "slutty hot chick", became a prominent part of North American slang in the early to mid 2000's. In short it is a word to describe beautiful women. For the last time it has nothing to do with cows. Absolutely no relation!
The following is an example of how the phrase might be used in a casual conversation:
Walnut Creek Local: "Dude check out that chick!"
Crogan's Regular: "Which one? The one with the chunky sandals?"
Walnut Creek Local: "No, the other one! The one in the jeans! She's BOVIS!"
The name of our band "We Are BOVIS" is a little misleading because only our bassist Tracy can be considered Bovis. The rest of us are meerly Bovis admirers and sleazy dirtbags.

Bush goes ballistic about other countries being evil and dangerous, because they have weapons of mass destruction. But, he insists on building up even a more deadly supply of nuclear arms right here in the US. What do you think? Is killing thousands of innocent civilians okay when you are doing a little government makeover?
