The Babcock Wedding Experience: A photo retrospective

So it's done, Babcock is officially married. Single no more. Off the market. Back off ladies, this one is spoken for.
So the first order of business was a pre-wedding golf game, with bonus prizes for those with the longest drive and the closet to the hole. (Babcock won the longest drive incase you were wondering).

As a joke they gave me an enormous golf tee because I suck so bad. I stabbed it in the best man's eye socket.

This picture was interesting. If you look really closely at the center of the image you will see a beaver, and not just any beaver, a beaver that stole my drive and ran away with it. I'm sure it's being put to good use fortifying the little creatures dam, but I really don't care. That cost my team a valuable stroke.

Then came the rehearsal dinner. It was nice.

Then next thing you know...POW...It's Wedding Day!
There was a lot of posing for pictures, let me tell you.

Here's the limo with all the fellas. It was awesome.

Here I am comforting Babcock as we wait backstage at the church before the big moment. We talked about Transformers.

Here I am with all the groomsmen and ushers after the ceremony. The one in the back left corner is a total perv. His final grope count was 11 (that includes the bride herself, me, and a couple of grandmothers).

Here's a picture of our limo driver Hank catching 40 winks.

The Maid of Honor and one of the other bridesmaids who looked surpisingly like Tracey Gold (the sister from Growing Pains).

Then it was on to the reception where the Babcock's enjoyed their first dance...

And first forced-feeding.

I caught the garter. I guess this means I'm supposed to get married next. Sweet.

Babcock was very supportive of my future wedding plans and felt confident that my bride-to-be will be enthusiastic about the Star Wars themed wedding we will be having. I know I am!

After the wedding my friend J.R. and I went to Philadeplhia where we ate cheesesteaks and saw Independence Hall (the signing place of the Declaration of Independence). It was neat but all I could think about was how bad everybody must have smelled back then. July in Philly is humid as hell!

I also saw the Liberty Bell!

After we left Philly a new adventure began as J.R. and I got stuck in Las Vegas for two days!
This is during night one. 2:00am and hungry as hell, and the only place that would accept our airline meal vauchers was the Wild Wild West cafe and casino advertising 2.99 all you can eat ribs.

"Yummers!" declared J.R.

The second night we got put up in the Emerald Suites (Tall-Boys not included).

J.R. and I did our best to hit the town but never made it further than The Orleans Hotel and Casino which was the only other place to accept our meal vouchers.

I competed in a karaoke competition for a $50.00 prize. I sang "Born to Run". My biggest competition was a crippled girl who sang "Photograph". It turned out neither me nor the cripple won, they simply drew a name out of a hat. Total bullshit.

At the end of the day it was a great weekend. I saw Babcock move onto a new chapter of his life and I applaud him, I just hope his wife knows what she has gotten herself into. I submit the following picture as Exhibit A:
